Storms should end early overnight; more coming Saturday night

Storms should end after 2 a.m. with temperatures falling into the middle 60s. Temperatures will hold in the 70s by morning, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said.

DETAILED FORECAST 

Saturday: Expect a mix of sun and clouds through the day with a chance for a passing shower or storm early. The chance for storms will increase late Saturday night with a few strong storms possible. Temperatures will climb to near 80 degrees.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy skies are expected with showers and thunderstorms likely, especially the first half of the day. Highs will be in the upper 70s.

Monday: Partly cloudy skies will end the holiday weekend with only a slight chance for a passing shower, mainly north of Interstate 70. Highs will be in the middle to upper 70s.
