WPAFB Tuesday Weather: Wind Chill Advisory in effect until noon; below zero temps across the region

WRIGHT PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE— A bitter cold start to the day. A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect through noon, said Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Kirstie Zontini.

The temperature itself will drop around 10 below zero this morning. Any light breeze will keep the wind chill ranging from 15 to 24 below zero.

Some sunshine today, but temperatures stay bitter cold. Highs only reach around 12 degrees in the afternoon with it being dry for most of the day.

Wind chill values will drop below zero again towards the evening hours as tonight’s temperatures settle to around zero. Wednesday will be cold as well with a high of 20 and a light snow shower or two towards the evening.
