WPAFB Weather: Highs in the 80s today, potential storms ahead this week

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — Another cool start is in the forecast for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and surrounding areas with temperatures starting the day around 50 degrees.

Lots of sunshine is expected with a warmer afternoon than in previous days as highs top out 80 degrees.

Clouds will start to increase late Wednesday evening as a cold front begins to approach from the northwest.

Expect a mix of sun and clouds Thursday with a chance for late day or evening storms.

One or two storms could be strong by late Thursday evening into Thursday night.

Highs on Thursday will climb back into the middle 80s.
