He was charged with burglary and having weapons under disability, the prosecutor’s office reported.
A statement from Heck said Walter is the primary suspect in the death of his mother. Donna Walter’s body was found on Feb. 10 in a house that she and Taylor Walter shared. He was detained two hours after her death, but later released, pending further investigation.

Donna Walter, 60, was found dead in the Brookville Pyrmont Road house by a woman who identified herself as the victim’s best friend. Her death was ruled a homicide by Montgomery County Coroner Kent Harshbarger.
At the time of the homicide, Taylor Walter was under indictment for aggravated possession of drugs charges, from an incident that occurred on September 3, 2019, on Upper Lewisburg Road. Additionally, he had a warrant from Clark County for OVI.
Taylor Walter was found by Englewood police inside an SUV in the parking lot of the Meijer on North Main Street.
Perry Twp. police and assistant prosecutors agreed that additional investigation had to occur before a charging decision could be made in the homicide case, said Greg Flannagan, spokesman for the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office.
