Davidson endorsed by The Club for Growth PAC

The Club for Growth PAC has endorsed Warren Davidson, one of 15 candidates running for the Republican nomination for the 8th District congressional seat vacated by former House Speaker John Boehner, R-West Chester Twp.

Davidson, partner/managing director of Integral Manufacturing, is a former trustee of Concord Township in Miami County.

"In the crowded field, Warren Davidson stands out as the premier economic conservative," said Club for Growth President David McIntosh said in a news release on Tuesday. "Warren is successful in business, has served his country, and holds a resolute commitment to free markets."

honored by their assessment, and will work hard to communicate that to the people of the 8th District. I share Club for Growth’s passion to change the status quo in Washington by promoting limited government and economic freedom."

The Club for Growth promotes "economic freedom through legislative involvement, issue advocacy, research and education," according to their news release.

The 15 Republicans are running both to complete Boehner's term, which expires in January 2017 and to fill the full two-year term commencing in January 2017.

The winner or winners of the March 15 GOP primary and special primary will face Democrat Corey Foister of Fairfield and Green Party candidate Jim Condit Jr. of Cincinnati in a special June 7 General Election to fill the unexpired seat and the Nov. 3 General Election for the full term.
