Montgomery County Commissioner Debbie Lieberman will serve on the National Association of Counties Board of Directors (NACo).
She was elected by the County Commissioners Association of Ohio to be one of two Ohio county commissioners on the national board and will be sworn in in February.
The NACo advocates on national policy for the nation's 3,069 county governments, holds a national conference for commissioners to set legislative priorities and provides a forum for the exchange of ideas on leadership and solutions to county problems.
"I look forward to bringing the best of Ohio to NACo and bring the best tools from around the county to Ohio and Montgomery County," Lieberman said in a written statement.
