Ohio Gov. Kasich to attend Israeli PM Netanyahu speech to Congress

Our Washington Bureau reporter Jack Torry says Gov. John Kasich will attend Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech before a joint session of Congress. Kasich was invited to be at the speech by House Speaker John Boehner, R-West Chester. As a former member of the House, Kasich will be permitted to watch the speech from the House floor.

Kasich appeared in South Carolina earlier this month, a state which holds the third presidential contest of 2016. But he has repeatedly said he is not close to making a decision to run for president.
