A company affiliated with the Casey’s General Store chain has bought property in Huber Heights for $624,000.
With plans to build a store there, Casey’s Marketing Co. bought the Flowerama store property at 6007 Old Troy Pike earlier this month from Mark and Carolyn Callahan, according to Montgomery County property records.

The buyer is tied to a publicly traded carry-out and convenience store chain focused on food made from scratch. The company is building a store in Clayton, at 6703 Salem Ave.
Casey’s focuses on pizzas, subs, burgers and other offerings made from scratch. Other company locations generally offer grocery items and foods prepared on-site from scratch, which can mean pizza, submarine sandwiches and donuts. Some locations also have gas stations.
Huber Heights officials told this news outlet last February that the company was planning a 4,685-square-foot-retail convenience store and gas station at that location.
