Commercial plumber buys Dayton manufacturing site

An HVAC and commercial plumbing company has bought manufacturing property on Humphrey Avenue in Dayton.

Real estate services company CBRE Group, Inc. facilitated the sale of the 20,774-square-foot building located at 1500 Humphrey Ave.

The property was sold by Wernli Realty Corp. for $525,000 to Frye Mechanical, which is already listing the new address on its web site. Previously, the company was located at 3750 Wrightway Road in Northeast Dayton.

CBRE’s Beau Nimer and Doug Whitten represented Frye Mechanical in the transaction, CBRE said in an announcement Tuesday.

Frye specializes in commercial plumbing, HVAC, process piping, welding, steam piping, 24-hour service and maintenance.

The property includes 15,000-square-feet of production space and 5,000-square-feet of office space. It includes heavy three-phase power, an industrial size gas service, 10 ton and four ton cranes, and is located about one minute from U.S. 35 and Woodman Drive, near Interstate 675.
