The Air Force has awarded an $87.3 million contract for up to 80 retrofit kits for MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aerial vehicles and an $83 million contract for a C-130J cargo plane.
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems of Poway, Calif., is under contract to manufacture and install the UAV retrofit kits by Aug. 17, 2016.
Lockheed Martin Corp., of Marietta, Ga., is set to build the turboprop cargo plane by July 15, 2015.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, based at Wright-Patterson, manages both programs.
