Corporate hangar offered at auction

A corporate hangar at the Dayton International Airport will be offered at auction on Sept. 6, according to Higgenbotham Auctioneers International.

The 21,541-square-foot hangar was previously used for a major corporation’s flight operations, officials said.

The hangar formerly was affiliated with the NCR Corp., according to the airport’s website.

The hangar is suitable for corporate-sized aircraft, and features 2,675 square feet of office space and a large shop area. Officials said the hangar is well-suited to corporate air operations, aviation maintenance facilities and aviation service operators.

“Centrally located between Columbus and Cincinnati at the intersection of the I-75 and I-70 corridors, Dayton International offers regular scheduled air service and is a perfect hub for domestic air operations,” said Angie Poole, a Higgenbotham auction manager.

Officials said it is rare for a hangar of this size, location and quality to become available.

The property may be previewed on Aug. 30 from 12- 3 p.m. The auction will be held on Sept. 6 at 11 a.m. For more information visit higgenbotham.com.
