A Dayton area defense contractor has won a $37.6 million Air Force contract to support directed energy and space vehicle research.
Universal Technology Corp. will conduct the work at the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Space Vehicles and Directed Energy Directorate at Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M., according to the Department of Defense.
Two companies competed for the three-year contract, the Pentagon reported.
AFRL is headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
