Dayton Metro Library launches online legal forms

The Dayton Metro Library has partnered with a Maryland-based library service provider to launch an online legal form service for library patrons.

The service, LawDepot, allows patrons to create customizable legal documents, according to a media release. Patrons can follow step-by-step directions to create a variety of state-specific legal forms that can then be printed, downloaded or saved to LawDepot’s secure archive.

Officials said the service allows patrons to prepare such forms as a Last Will and Testament or Medical Power of Attorney at no cost from the library’s website.

Dayton Metro Library has launched the service in partnership with RB Digital, a division of Recorded Books, a library service provider based in Prince Frederick, MD. For more information, visit daytonmetrolibrary.com.
