Fresh Thyme Farmers Market has opened 20 news stores and hired more than 2,000 employees in the Midwest during 2016 — and the grocery retailer plans to add even more locations in 2017.
Fresh Thyme, a specialty retailer with natural and organic products, plans to have a total of 70 stores open by the end of next year. The grocery chain already has locations in Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Kentucky, Michigan, Wisconsin and Ohio.
“Seeing a significant change in the ever-evolving food retail industry this past year, Fresh Thyme is proud of the service we provide our customers and we look forward to continuously improving their shopping experience for years to come,” said Chris Sherrell, chief executive officer of Fresh Thyme.
In February, Fresh Thyme launched its private label line of quality products with reasonable prices. Fresh Thyme currently has more than 800 private label products, and plans to add new products including wine and beer.
Fresh Thyme has markets in Beavercreek and Sugarcreek Twp.
