Home sales, prices hit new record in Dayton

Sales of existing homes and average sale prices in Dayton rose to their highest level on record last month, according to the latest report from the Dayton Area Board of Realtors (DABR).

Sales of single-family homes and condominiums rose 6.5 percent to 1,679 in June, compared to the same month a year ago, DABR reported. Meanwhile, the average sales price rose to $161,380, up 5.5 percent from a year ago.
