Kettering sports bar closes

Sidelines Sports Bar & Grill at 4090 Wilmington Pike south of Stroop Road in Kettering has shut its doors.

“Sorry, we are now closed!” reads a sign taped to the inside of the sports bar, which opened in November 2013 in space that previously housed the Starlite Diner and, before that, a Perkins restaurant.

The sign invites those who are interested in the business and the building to contact a local commercial real estate agent.

The building had been vacant for about 11 months before Sidelines opened last fall. The sports bar’s signage along Wilmington Pike noted that the pub had been under new management.
