Local motorsports shop to offer used vehicles

A longtime race car builder is now offering used vehicles.

Moraine’s Colletti Motorsports, an automotive repair facility and longtime race car builder and participant, has obtained an Ohio Used Motor Vehicle Dealer License.

Owner Steve Colletti started his 2835 Main St. business in 2000. Before that, he had decades of auto repair and championship racing experience.

“We’ve been helping customers find car buyers and sellers for years,” Colletti said in an announcement from his business. “With our experience and knowledge of what makes a good used car, we thought we’d make it official.”

The business has a dedicated website — www.collettimotorsportscars.com — to feature a complete listing and description of available cars, and a way for customers to request specific car models and price ranges, the company said.

“We run each car through a thorough inspection, and realize customers today need affordable and reliable transportation. We believe this knowledge of what makes for a quality used car is what sets us apart,” Colletti said.

Purchase of a car includes three free standard oil changes, and one tire rotation for one year, the dealership said.

Specializing in “bumper-to-bumper repairs and maintenance – from oil changes to motor overhauls – unique to this facility is an on-site dynamometer which provides advances diagnostics on vehicles from 20 to 1,200 horsepower,” the business said.

“We are the shop other mechanics send cars to when they can’t find the problem,” Colletti said.

Colletti is also involved in the Sports Car Club of America, and builds and maintains race cars for area drivers.
