Montgomery County dispatch center property quietly sold

The sale of the building housing the Montgomery County dispatch center has quietly closed, for $5.2 million, said Gerry Smith, Miller-Valentine Group senior vice president.

Montgomery County had signed a 20-year-lease on the building to house its multi-jurisdictional emergency dispatch center at the building at Mound Business Park in Miamisburg. The county had about 10 years left on the lease, but site owner Mound Development Corp. decided to sell the property, Smith said Tuesday.

The dispatch center will remain at the building, Smith said. Jenn Skyline Inc. bought the property as an investment.

Albert Macanian, owner of the Kettering Tower, is a partner in Plainview, N.Y.-based Jen Skyline. Miller-Valentine represented Mound Development in the transaction.

“It was a relatively quiet sale. It was never actually listed on the market,” Smith said.

The address of the property is 460 Vantage Point, Miamisburg. The sale closed in mid-February, Smith said.
