More retailers to move in front of Bargain Hunt

More retailers are likely coming to Miami Twp. in front of Bargain Hunt.

Sean Sullivan of Town Center Company said two buildings with parking lots will be constructed in front of the new Bargain Hunt at 8336 Ohio 741 in the Dayton Mall area. One of the future buildings will be approximately 8,000 square feet with 73 parking spaces. The other building will be 6,400 square feet with 67 parking spaces.

Shoppers could expect retailers to move in during the third or fourth quarter of the year. He said the company is currently working on several deals with prospective tenants, but could not disclose what businesses will move in yet.

“I keep joking that we are usually chasing prospects, but now seem to be tripping over them,” Sullivan said.

Bargain Hunt was initially expected to open today, but pushed its opening date back to early April, according to a spokeswoman. The store will open in the former PNC Bank location, where the second floor of the building was removed during renovation.
