The city council will have three readings and a set a public hearing for the final development plan.
Jim Dando, development director, said the city has already approved the foundation permit and some work on the project has already started, but the final development plan is for the building and still needs to be approved.
Kettering Health is planning to build a three-story, nearly 100,000 square-foot hospital on land that was formerly home to Hobart.

In addition to inpatient beds, services will include an emergency department, lab and imaging, surgery center and a medical office building for physician practices.
It is expected to create 120 new jobs, including physicians, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, imaging and lab technicians and support staff.
