A new gift shop and boutique for home decor and women’s clothing will open next month in Oakwood at The Shops of Oakwood.
Wild Poppy is scheduled to open April 5, pending city approval, at 2426 Far Hills Ave., in Oakwood near Graeter’s Ice Cream, according to owner Lisa Nueslein.
Nueslein has been in the retail and fashion business for the past 32 years. She has worked in all aspects from manufacturing to buying and has worked for The Limited and Casual Corner.
Opening the store has been a dream for the Centerville resident, who will remain employed as a national sales manager with Zimmer Enterprises.
Wild Poppy will have “a little bit for everyone,” Nueslein said.
The store will have four employees and will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
