Premier CEO named to board of $4B transportation firm

Premier Health’s chief executive Mary Boosalis is the newest board member of a transportation management company based near Chicago.

Hub Group Inc., with about $4 billion in revenue, said in a statement that Boosalis had been elected as an independent director to its board of directors.

“I’m excited to join this board as we work to ensure Hub Group remains the industry leader by delivering value to its shareholders and superior service to its customers,” stated Boosalis.

Boosalis leads Dayton-based Premier Health, a health system that operates four hospitals, including its flagship Miami Vally Hospital, as well as a large network of physicians.

Hub is a publicly traded logistics company with 4,000 employees with supply chain services like truck brokerage.

Hub said in a statement that Boosalis is able to advise the company on public outreach and best practices across different industries.

“Mary is an experienced executive and great strategic mind and we are excited to welcome her to Hub Group’s board of directors,” stated David Yeager, Hub Group chairman and chief executive. “We believe her broad experience as a Chief Executive Officer will be extremely valuable to Hub Group.”
