ABX Air and Air Transportation International Inc. were named a part of a more than $114 million program extension for international airlift services under the U.S. Transportation Command.
The two area businesses were a part of 10 contracts that were modified to provide indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity in the program.
The companies are both located at the Wilmington Air Park in Wilmington.
Work will be performed at worldwide locations as specified on each individual task order, with an expected completion date of Dec. 31, according to a release from the Department of Defense.
