A Vandalia manufacturing site just sold for $1 million.
A 61,208-square-foot building at 6161 Ventor Ave. was sold by Gaiser Properties Inc. to MSW RE 1 Inc., Montgomery County property records show. The sale was recorded Monday.
A Loopnet listing describes the site as offering manufacturing, warehouse and office space, with five docks and three drive-in doors. It also has 75 parking spaces and is rail accessible, located just a mile from Interstate 75.

Chuck McCosh, president and principal of Springboro-based OCRD, was the listing broker in the transaction.
The site once was home to Encon, which was founded in the early 1970s by William Gaiser and managed later by Karin Gaiser. The production operations of a related company, Eco-Groupe Inc., were sold in 2015.
Though a website for Encon still gives a 6161 Ventor address, it no longer has a working phone number.
