Work begins on cornerstone of popular south Dayton development

A 42-acre parcel Miami Twp. owns at the southeast quadrant of the Austin interchange will be the focus of engineering work toward marketing the land.

Miami Twp. trustees have approved a resolution for Administrator Greg Rogers to contract with LJB for survey and engineering services for the site at Wood Road and Austin Boulevard.

The land is “a cornerstone of the Austin Center” area, Rogers has said. It is the site of a former proposal Clivus Development LLC had an agreement to bring a proton therapy center before the agreement expired without plans being presented.
