Wright-Patt Credit Union names new executives

Wright-Patt Credit Union recently named Daniel Smith its chief financial officer and Kim Riley its vice president of service delivery.

Smith joins WPCU with more than 25 years of finance experience.

Most recently, he was at Fifth Third Bank for more than eight years, with assignments that included capital planning coordination for the consumer bank, pricing and balance sheet forecasting, and financial decision support for the retail banking and consumer lending business units.

Prior to Fifth Third, Smith served KeyBank for 20 years with multiple business unit finance roles.

“I am excited to have a professional with Daniel’s experience and credentials join us at WPCU,” Douglas Fecher, WPCU president and chief executive, said in an announcement. “Daniel will be a great asset to the credit union with his diverse financial background and his great enthusiasm.”

Riley has a background in service delivery, operational excellence, process improvement and information technology.

Riley has worked for CareSource, and she has held leadership positions at KeyBank and Standard Register that focused on contact center operations and information technology.

“I am thrilled to have Kim leading our service delivery efforts at WPCU,” said Darrick Weeks, WPCU’s chief operating officer. “She brings 29 years of leadership experience, and her skill sets will be extremely valuable.
