WILSON, LaVon R. Age 82, of Middletown, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties where she had been a patient for 11 days. She was born November 14, 1935 in Brazil, Indiana and moved to Middletown in 1955. She was employed as a cashier for Liberal Supermarket, and then as a receptionist at Gough-Lamb Cleaners. LaVon was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ. Preceding her in death were her parents, Elmer and Jenny (nee Whitaker) Brown; her husband, Marvie Wilson; three sisters, Freda Moon, Rosemary Harbin and Juanita Brown; and three brothers, George Brown, Gene Brown and Roy Brown. She is survived by one daughter, Angela S. (Dan) Shoemaker; one son, Anthony "Tony" Wilson; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Betty Striker; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
