Introducing your brand-new comics page

Dear readers: We asked you last fall to tell us which of our comics you like the most … and the least. We also asked you to share your opinions on several comic strips that we were considering adding to our comics lineup. We received thousands of responses from you. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

We’ve spent the last few months sifting through your comments and developing a brand-new comics page. Today, we introduce you to the page debuting Tuesday, March 11.

Thank you. More than 3,000 readers took the time in the past two weeks to tell us which of seven comics they wanted returned to our newspapers. The winner? B.C. the ongoing tale of cave men and women B.C., Curls, Wiley, Fat Broad and the rest. B.C. was written for 49 years by its founder Johnny Hart. After he died in 2007, two of his grandsons, Mason and Mick Mastroianni, continued the tradition. B.C. will return to your newspaper daily and Sunday beginning in mid-April.
