People inside a white Ford Focus, who earlier came out of a residence across the street, shot at three teens before taking off, the caller said.
The gunshot victim was shot in the right side and was drifting in and out of consciousness as the 911 caller said her boyfriend, a former firefighter, tried to help him. She said her boyfriend also took a gun from the teen, described as a high school junior, and disarmed it.
The teen was taken to a local hospital, where his condition was unknown.
“We’ve lived here for 17 years and we’ve never had this issue,” the caller said.
