MASON — The 2016 Beach Waterpark season kicks into high gear this weekend with a packed summer calendar.

“We will have a lot of fun events this year. We are hosting our first annual Beach Bash Craft Beer Festival on June 4. There will be live music, food, over 15 different breweries and up to 80 different beers. There will also be plenty of activities for kids so this is truly a family friendly event,” said Sandra Gore, General Manager. “We will have the Ohio Mermaids performing this summer and a fun concert with Alexis Gomez on July 16. There are a ton of fun events, so check out our website for the full list.”

The Riptide Racer — a multi-person slide that is a race to the finish line for bragging rights — is the newest attraction in the park that launched last year. Updates for the 2016 season include new lounge chairs.

Here’s a look at some of the events and promotions slated for this summer:

Mommy and Me Mondays: Every Monday in the month of June, purchase one child admission (48 inches tall and under) and receive one adult admission free. Each additional child is $14.99. Must mention Mommy and Me promotion at the time of purchase. Not valid with any other discount offer or ticket.

Banzai Thursday: 5 p.m. to close every Thursday from June 2 to Aug. 4.

Club Splash: Teens (13-18 years old) get in for $10 Friday nights from 8:30 p.m.-11:30 p.m. Valid June 10, June 17, June 24, July 1, July 8, July 15, July 22, July 29 and Aug. 5.

Saturday Evening Car Load Days: Take a car in after 4 p.m. on Saturdays from June 11-Aug. 27 and receive up to 10 wristbands per vehicle with parking included for $50. All passengers must be wearing a seat belt.

Reggae Sundays: Live music will be featured from 2-5 p.m. on Sundays from May 29 to Sept. 4 at the Wave Rider Bar & Grill.

June 4: Craft Beer Festival: The first annual Beach Bash will take place from 2-9 p.m. June 4. Over 60 different beers will be featured from 20 local and regional breweries. Visit the website for more information.

June 5: Mother's celebration: Moms get in free with a paid admission.

June 8: Half-price day: $14.50 for adults and $12 for children.

June 15: Half-price day: $14.50 for adults and $12 for children.

June 16: Alexis Gomez concert.

June 18: World's Largest Swim Lesson: Meet at 2 p.m. at the Wave Pool to participate in a huge swim lesson. Included with admission to the park.

June 19: Father's Day weekend: Dad's get in free on June 19 with a paid admission at admission window only

June 24: AAA Member Day: Enjoy buy one, get one free general admission tickets (up to 3 free tickets per membership), $2 off parking and 10 percent off food and non-alcoholic beverages on June 24. Just show your AAA membership to receive your discount. All tickets must be purchased at the Ticket Window at The Beach Water Park.

June 27: Christmas in July: Christmas carols and holiday lights will be out at the Beach Water Park.

Sept. 3-5: Labor Day Weekend: Visitors can enjoy hot dogs, pizza slices, soft drinks, ice cream for $1 each

Sept. 11: Dog Day: The last day the park is open. Dog owners and dogs are invited to play in the Wave Pool from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. together and enjoy a day of fun in the sun.
