Glamour reported that Graham requested that the doll have cellulite and no thigh gap, but the makers said that the first request wouldn't live up to expectations and would look like a production mistake.
But Graham was happy with the overall result, which she made sure to have a hand in creating.

"All we did was take 360-degree photos of my body to send to them, and afterward we fleshed out some details," Graham told The Huffington Post. "The color of my hair, a few details on my face like beauty marks and full eyebrows. The No. 1 prerequisite, though, was that her thighs touched. I was like, 'Guys, we can make this Barbie, but if her thighs don't touch, she's not authentic.'"
People reported that the model had the Barbie doll made based on her measurements.
Graham's Barbie comes after Mattel unveiled a new, wider-ranging line of Barbie dolls with varying shape, height, size, hair types and skin complexions.
"Beyond the fashion, it's so incredible because, now, I'm not striving to be Barbie," Graham said. "I am Barbie. Everyone can be Barbie."
