CNN reported that Springsteen collaborated with friend and fellow singer-songwriter Joe Grushecky on “That’s What Makes Us Great.”

“Don't you brag to me that you never read a book I never put my faith in a con man and his crook,” Springsteen sings in some of the song, according to Rolling Stone.

Springteen has been a critic of Trump and said as much in a 2016 interview with Rolling Stone

“The ideas he's moving to the mainstream are all very dangerous ideas – white nationalism and the alt-right movement,” he said. “The outrageous things that he's done – not immediately disavowing David Duke? These are things that are obviously beyond the pale for any previous political candidate. It would sink your candidacy immediately.”

The song is available for digital download purchase on Grushecky’s website
