Hogg, a survivor-turned-gun-control activist, lost 14 of his classmates in the shooting rampage at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Valentine’s Day, a massacre that claimed 17 lives in total.
At least 11 advertisers, including Wayfair, Nestle, Hulu and TripAdvisor, have pulled their commercials from "The Ingraham Angle" since Wednesday when Ingraham posted a tweet making fun of the high school senior.
“David Hogg rejected by four colleges to which he applied and whines about it,” Ingraham tweeted.
David Hogg Rejected By Four Colleges To Which He Applied and whines about it. (Dinged by UCLA with a 4.1 GPA...totally predictable given acceptance rates.) https://t.co/wflA4hWHXY

Hogg responded with a tweet urging Ingraham’s advertisers to drop the host, and they started complying.

I 100% agree an apology in an effort just to save your advertisers is not enough. I will only accept your apology only if you denounce the way your network has treated my friends and I️ in this fight. It’s time to love thy neighbor, not mudsling at children. https://t.co/H0yWs4zMGk

"I think it's great that corporate America is standing with me," David Hogg says of his call for advertisers to boycott Laura Ingraham's Fox News show, "They cannot push us around, especially when all we're trying to do here is save lives" https://t.co/kL7RrM6fHF pic.twitter.com/yvz1PpXMxg
