Toni Braxton was hospitalized Saturday due to complications from lupus. The hospitalization caused the singer to cancel a concert in Cleveland, Ohio.
"Toni Braxton was hospitalized this afternoon in Cleveland due to complications with her Lupus," an official statement on the singer's Twitter account read. "Lupus needs to be constantly monitored and this minor setback should not affect the rest of her tour."
Braxton's Twitter account noted that tickets for the canceled show would be honored at a rescheduled concert date to be announced later.
Saturday marked Braxton's second hospital visit in less than three weeks due to lupus complications.
Earlier this month, the Grammy Award-winner was taken to a Los Angeles hospital for treatment.
Braxton, 49, revealed that she has lupus in 2011. The chronic autoimmune disease causes inflammation in internal organs, joints and skin.
