Keith Flint, frontman for the band The Prodigy, has died.
The 49-year-old singer, known for his fluorescent spiked hair, was found dead in his home in Essex, UK, Monday morning, the BBC reported.
Flint, who sang lead vocals on songs like “Firestarter” and “Breathe,” was part of the British techno scene, CNN reported.
Police said they were called to the home to check on the resident’s welfare.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner,” police said.
Flint was expected to start a tour of the U.S. in May and had just finished a tour of Australia, according to the BBC.
The Prodigy had six No. 1 albums in the U.K. The band also had one in the U.S. Its latest album, “No Tourists,” was released in November, CNN reported.
