AleFeast reveals sinfully delicious menus for its 11th year of brew and food

Local beer enthusiasts can expect to see some new faces and partake in some new options at this year’s AleFeast Dayton, downtown Dayton’s  celebration of beer and food that will spotlight more than 60 breweries — a dozen of them local —along with 18 food purveyors.

The event, the 11th such AleFeast since it was created as a winter companion to AleFest, will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2 at the Dayton Convention Center in downtown Dayton.

New food purveyors this year include Amber Rose, Crafted & Cured, Pour Haus and Thyme After Thyme Gourmet, according to AleFeast co-organizer Joe Waizmann.

About a half-dozen breweries are new to the event, including Branch & Bone, which opened on Wayne Avenue in Dayton in 2018. More than 60 breweries will be represented. The full list of food purveyors, Waizmann said, includes:

Amber Rose Restaurant & Catering, Brixx Ice Company, Canal Street Arcade & Deli, Crafted & Cured, Dorothy Lane Market, Esther Price Fine Chocolates, Fifth Street Brewpub, Glasz Bleu Oven, Lock 27 Brewpub, Lucky Star Brewery, Mudlick Tap House,  Ollie’s Place, Pour Haus, Smales Bakery, Thai9, The Pub at The Greene, Thyme After Thyme Gourmet, and Wandering Griffin Brewery & Pub. In addition, a RADS Bloody Mary Bar with Buckeye Vodka and Centerville Pizza Chicken will be offered.

Each food offering will be paired with and/or infused with a special craft beer. Wines complementing the food will be included at each craft beer table, organizers said. Live music will be provided by Nick Mitchell.

The final list of food and beer being served up at AleFeast has been released, and it has one delicious item after another.

With 18 food purveyors at 18 stations featuring 3-5 International craft beers and 1-2 wines at each there will be plenty for guests to sample and enjoy.

TICKETS

General admission tickets are $55 in advance and $60 at the door, and are available online and at select Dayton-area beer retailers. Each admission includes 20 samples of craft beer or wine, unlimited food samples and a tasting glass.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association, the Dayton Area Rugby Club and Bike Miami Valley.
