Purchasing summer concert tickets can be a form of coping through these cold winter weekends.

The most recent concert announcement locally is Brian Culbertson and the Average White Band coming to Fraze Pavilion on Sunday, July 21. Tickets went on sale today and can be found at fraze.com.

Tickets are $45 for Plaza and Orchestra seating and $25 for Lawn and Terrace. Today only, tickets are limited to four per person. All tickets increase $5 the day of show.

For the better part of the last 30 years, the Average White Band has performed “sold-out shows around the world, confirming the timeless appeal of their dance-able funky soul.”

“Brian Culbertson is an award-winning multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer known for his distinct brand of genre-crossing contemporary jazz, R&B and funk. Mining the urban sounds of musically-rich Chicago, he began his musical studies on piano at age eight and quickly picked up several other instruments by the time he was twelve, including drums, trombone, bass and euphonium,” according to a Fraze Pavilion release.
