Cook a 5-course meal with your sweetie for a chance to win

This week, the Ridge Project is challenging all couples to partake in building a stronger relationship by joining each other in the comfort of their own kitchen and prepare a 5-course meal together.

When you have completed this challenge, you'll get to attend an event that includes preparing meals with a professional chef, as well as a chance to win $1600 worth of door prizes at the Dorothy Lane Market Culinary Center this Saturday, Oct., 22 located at 6161 Far Hills Ave.

“The younger generations have seen relationships that don’t always work," said Ridge Project Director of Communication Jeremy Otte. "They’ve seen divorce, [and abuse]. We want to have a proactive approach [and] equip them with the skills they need to make it work.”

The Ridge is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to empowering individuals and the lives of families throughout the state of Ohio.

“We often hear people tell couples how lucky they are to have found the perfect person,” Product Development Specialist Brandon Tijerina says, “It’s not about being perfect. This person [may not be] perfect, but it takes skill to make it work, not luck.”

Couples are encouraged to register online at Eventbrite.

The task involves creating memories and building with each other through communication and laughter while learning how to make new dishes -- and it's free. Once you've made your dishes, upload your pictures into the profile you created on the website. Completion of this step ensures your seat at the event this Saturday.
