Since opening last summer, Mother Stewart’s Brewing has continued to up its game day by day, event by event and beer by beer. For the holidays, it's going all out.

On Saturday, Dec. 2, it will play host to an event called Aberration: Immure Pomp.
The event, modeled after one Mother Stewart's hosted in April that saw more than 700 people come through the doors over the course of the day, is expected to draw record crowds to the Springfield brewery this weekend.
The event, a combination of live music, arts festival and general merrymaking centered around pints of beer, will kick off at 6 p.m.
Bands scheduled to play include Gabe Judy (6 p.m.), April and June (7 p.m.), Once a Pine (8 p.m.), Kevin Callison (9 p.m.) and B.A.D. (10 p.m.).
Work from 15 artists will be displayed and shown over the course of the evening.
With more than 180 craft breweries across the state, Ohio's 12th largest city was missing a brewery until last year, when Mother Stewart's opened its doors. The $2.5 million project has already given a big boost to the neighborhood. Named after one of the leaders of the temperance movement 130 years ago and housed in the former Springfield Metallic Casket Company, it's a venue and a story that you can't help but lean into when it's being told.
