RESCHEDULED: Free ice skating event at RiverScape moved to next week due to weather

UPDATED at 2:13 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12:

Due to the threat of serious weather, including a wintry mix and snow, UpDayton’s free ice skating event at RiverScape has been rescheduled.

Originally, the event was planned for Friday, Jan. 12. An email from UpDayton informed us that the event has been postponed. The new date is Friday, Jan. 19, 2018.

Looking for something fun and free to do this Friday? You’re in luck.

UpDayton is hosting free ice skating at RiverScape MetroPark, 237 E. Monument Ave., in downtown Dayton.

The event runs from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12. To get free skate rental, tell the RiverScape staff members at the rental window that you’re with UpDayton.
