Crowds have gathered for Art in the City, a downtown Dayton event featuring visual and performing arts, and the United Way is featuring its school supply drive as part of the overall event.

The RTA has donated the use of a bus, with the goal of stuffing the bus full of school supplies, which will then be given to area schools.
An employee supply drive at Cox Media Group helped kick off the donations, and Cox Media Group is donating thousands of dollars in school supplies.

“This program will do so much for kids in our community, and we are happy to be promoting and donating to helping their school year start off on the right foot,” said Emily Broughton, Community and Public Relations Manager at Cox Media Group.
