New weekend block party includes outdoor beer sales, music and food trucks

This weekend, the Miamisburg Viking Boosters Association will host its first Block Party in the ‘Burg at Star City Brewing Company.

The event is free and will bring out some of Miamisburg’s best offerings including beer (outside beer sales too), food trucks, local one-of-a-kind crafts and goods, live music, lawn games and more. Those who arrive at 9 a.m. can get a view of weekend parade.

The music lineup includes:

12 to 2 p.m. - Rich Reuter & Friends (featuring members of Great Northern String Band)
2 to 4 p.m. - Slippery Creek
4 to 6 p.m. - Cherry Lee & The Hot Rod Hounds
6 to 8 p.m. -  The New Old-Fashioned

Ohio Hunger Force One and Shantz Express will be there to feed hungry bellies. Lucky Star Brewery and Star City Brewing Company will have beer for sale outside in the field.

A portion of the day’s proceeds will be donated to the Miamisburg Viking Boosters, which provides financial support and promotes the interscholastic sports teams of the Miamisburg City Schools.
