Lace up your sneakers. Tie on your superhero cape. Grab your super pooch.

One of the biggest events to support pets (and bring your pets along) is this weekend.

The 28th annual Furry Skurry 5K walk/run is held to benefit the pets at the Humane Society of Greater Dayton, the area's largest no-kill animal welfare agency.

This is one of the largest animal events around greater Dayton.

This family-friendly and pet-friendly event will take place on Saturday, May 25, at the Eastwood MetroPark, 1385 Harshman Road. Come as an individual, family or a team (pets included).

If you can’t attend, you can still participate. The Virtual Walker option gives you the chance to walk, wherever you may be, and still support the animals and get the same prizes and goodies as those who attend.
