Papi's took home second place last year and third place in 2018.

Last year bartender Jenn Elsass from TJ Chumps in Miamisburg took home top prize thanks to an impressive garnish that included a large shrimp, a deviled egg and a shot of beer back.

The charity partner for this year’s event was FILMDAYTON, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building and supporting Dayton’s film community.

Restaurants take this competition seriously. Wheat Penny went out of the box with its entry, “The Golden Ticket" made with roasted sweet potatoes, roasted golden beets, yellow cherry tomatoes, lemon juice, banana pepper juice, Bloody Mary shrub, ground mustard seed, ground white pepper, prepared horseradish, creole bitters and Cholula hot sauce.
