One of Dayton’s newest design firms hopes to help two companies that cannot spend “that kind of money” on a website while working to keep the lights on.

Studio Volant hopes to award its design and evaluation work to two businesses during the coronavirus pandemic that need a fresh new website, co-founder John Stanton said.

“We want to do something for our neighbors and friends in Dayton,” he said.

Businesses are invited to apply for the services by sending emails answering the following questions to hello@studiovolant.com:

1)  What does your business do to help the Dayton community?
2) How would an increased online presence help you at this time?

The deadline has been extended to Friday, April 24.

The prizes are valued at $5,000 each.

Winners will be required to pay a fee for their domain name and website monthly hosting. Stanton said domains can be purchased for as low as $9 a year and hosting is $20 to $30 a month.
