Chris Hemsworth launches health and fitness app

Chris Hemsworth has launched a fitness app, though there are no promises it’ll make you look like Thor.

Centr is an app to help you with fitness and diet. It is intended for men and women of all fitness levels.

"I just feel so fortunate to have interacted with this many experts over the years in health and nutrition and mindfulness," Hemsworth told Apple. "I think, why not share that?"

The app works by helping you set a goal, whether that’s gaining muscle or slimming down. It then puts you through short, focused workouts.

“I’ve found that’s the most effective way to train,” the “Avengers” star said. “I used to train a lot longer, but I found myself having far more injuries and not actually getting the results I wanted.”

The exercises are designed to be done at home, with “minimal or no” equipment required.

Also, the app helps you refuel with special recipes to help you refuel.

And at the end of the day, you can use the app to wind down through “guided meditations to get you centered” and “sleep visualizations to help you switch off.”

The app is free for seven days. After that you have to subscribe, starting at $16 per month or $96 per year. You can download it from the App Store.
