Giant, super cool ‘snow chicken’ causing cackles in Vandalia 

Who needs a snowman when you can have a cool chick?  

A Vandalia family caused some cackles with its snow chicken rocking super chill sunglasses.

The Vandalia city manager Facebook page shared a photo of the cold fowl at on Sunday.

People were into it. 

The picture of the kid-size snow sculpture (it is taller than a lot of kids) caught attention. 

Our photographer captured a photo of the chicken and his  people as part of a photo gallery about winter weather.

The house on Upper Trent Way is owned by Holly Baxter and her family.

Via Facebook, Baxter said her daughter Kyla Bedel and husband Ken Bedel created the masterpiece chicken. 

Baxter said she is glad the chicken has made so many people smile. 

“We had fun making him,” she wrote. 

Let’s hope this chicken stays cool until it gets too hot.
