Cedarville grad Emmett Robinson will be on an upcoming episode of "Jeopardy."

Local grad will compete on ‘Jeopardy!’

A local grad will get up close and personal with legendary game show host Alex Trebek.

Emmett Robinson, a 2007 Cedarville University graduate, will appear on “Jeopardy!” on Wednesday, April 19.

The show airs weekdays in the Dayton area at 7:30 p.m. on WDTN channel 2.

Robinson, also a Harvard Law School graduate, told Cedarville that being on Jeopardy made him both excited and nervous.

“The hardest part of being on the show was using the buzzer,” Robinson said as part of a press release from the university. “Hitting it at the right time is much harder than you would think.”

Now a business attorney in Cleveland, Robinson lives in

Greenwich.

He first took the online test to be on “Jeopardy!” while a student at Cedarville.

He repeatedly took the test until being invited to audition in October of 2015.
