Couple find love with the help of their guide dogs

Love can come from anywhere, and for one Florida couple, it came with the help of their two guide dogs.

Mike and Eva Truelock, who are blind, met each other in 2007 at Southeastern Guide Dogs Inc. and the relationship took off from there. Mike was training with his first guide dog, while Eva was returning for more training with her dog, Cara.

"I called Southeastern Guide Dogs and they told me to bring Cara back to get her out of her environment and back into shape," Eva told The Ledger. "I told my mom I'll come back as single as I am going, but she told me, 'I hope you find someone.' I just kind of dismissed that."

Eva, 45, said when she met Mike, they swapped phone numbers since Mike he was returning to his home in Dallas, Texas. Eventually, Mike moved to Florida, and the two got married in 2007.

The couple said they aren't the only one's who are compatible. Their dogs are just as in-synch.

"Sandy and Romeo are basically our right hands," he said. "You find your trust and loyalty with these dogs really quick."
