The attractions

Banshee

This coaster opened in April of 2014 and is the world’s longest inverted roller coaster. It has speeds up to 68 mph and seven inversions.

TIP: According Kings Island's website the line for the Banshee is shortest in the afternoon or early evening.

Soak City

It was announced in 2011 that Boomerang Bay, Kings Island’s 30 acre waterpark, would be renamed Soak City in 2012.

With the new name came a $10 million expansion that included a new wave pool and renovations on the water park’s entrance, and construction on the already existing Lazy River.

Just this year Soak City added a new attraction called Tropical Plunge. Tropical Plunge is made up of six different water slides that creates almost seven stories of watery fun.

Dinosaurs Alive!

When this dinosaur exhibit debuted in 2011 it was the largest animatronic dinosaur park in the world.
